DESCRIPTION:WORLD LEMUR DAY\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nEvery year on the last Friday of October\, conservationists\, zoos\, and wildlife lovers around the world come together to celebrate World Lemur Day.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nWorld Lemur Day is a global event dedicated to Madagascar’s iconic primates. Lemurs are found nowhere else on Earth\, yet 95% of lemur species are threatened with extinction\, making them the most endangered group of mammals on the planet. World Lemur Day raises awareness about the incredible diversity of lemurs and the urgent need to protect Madagascar’s forests\, which are their only home. Through special events\, educational programs\, and global social media campaigns\, organizations and individuals unite to highlight conservation efforts and inspire action to secure a future for lemurs and the communities that live alongside them. \n\n\n\n\n\nLearn More about World Lemur Day HERE
